Project Managers
At Steger, our Project Manager’s responsibilities include planning and monitoring the project, managing budgets, managingthe required deliverables, all while considering changes in budget or scope during the execution of the contract.
Our project managers need to be able to see the overall big picture of the project and make sure that the project is completed within budget and on time, all while delivering a quality product to the client that conforms with building codes and safety regulations.
We have those guys. The PM’s at Steger have strong leadership skills, the ability to make decisions, and the capacity to work under pressure. Meet our project management team, Scott Nieman, David Schaffer, and King Clark.
Scott has been with Steger for 6 months after retiring from a career as a PM/Contract Monitor with the City Of Tampa. “Steger truly exemplifies what a family atmosphere in the workplace should look like,” says Nieman.
Scott has been married to my wife, Robin, for 38 years. They have 2 grown sons, Kyle 33, who lives in Pittsburg with his wife Raquel and two grandkids, and son Robbie 31, who works for an electrical engineer here in Tampa and lives in Hyde Park.
When Scott isn’t hard at work on Steger’s projects, he enjoys golf, sports, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
David Schaffer has been working with Steger for 2 years, and has been in the construction industry since 1982. He says he loves being on Steger’s team because of the “Fantastic work environment andthe great people.
In addition to living with a large stupid dog, David is married, has 2 daughters and 2 grandsons, and enjoysgolfing, fishing, and family time in his spare time.
And last, but not least, Kevin Clark has been at Steger since March 6, 2023 When asked how long he’s been in the industry, Clark simply replied, “Too Long.”
“In my 40 years at Steger, the thing that has made the biggest impression is the unwavering team culture,” said Kevin.
Kevin and his wife ofover 12 years are about to adopt a 13 year old girl. Until then, they reside with Buford Ulyesses Dogg, know better to his close friends as “Buddy. “
When he has spare time, Kevin enjoys 4-wheeling, beach time, and flying his drone.
